Were still here!

O my goodness! I have not only fallen behind on my project 52 but on my family blogging in general! We are still here and even if nobody ever reads this blog, it is still such a fun way to document our lives.
My business has been very busy which is a blessing so this blog has fallen by the waist side. I will be back soon with vacation photos and kid updates, if not for anyone, for myself.
Cheers!

To The Pumpkin Patch We Go!

I have to admit that places like pumpkin patches sometimes give me a bit of anxiety. I really dislike places crawling with people all there to consume. I was determined to find a small farm pumpkin patch. Well, that is exactly what I found. This pumpkin patch was only about 25 minutes away and there were hardly any people there. In fact, until the very end, we were the only ones there. It was a dream.
There is something about the country that calls to me and really I think it calls to all of us in my little family. I mean, we already have chickens, right? What is a move to the country. Ha! I feel like I am a little bit city and a little bit country! Anyway, after playing at the farm, feeding horses, and picking pumpkins, we were all relaxed and happy. We had a lovely time and came home with some beautiful pumpkins.
Happy fall!

42/52 For Jen

A fellow photographer was taken this week by cancer. Us Pros over at CM rallied and did a tribute for her on the CMpro Daily Project. I wanted to share here too.

Halloween Lanterns

Get some glass jars out of your recycling stash. We have a bunch. I always save them because I can always find use for them.
Shred tissue paper. Whatever colors you wish, we were going for mummies and pumpkins so we went with orange and white.
Get some eyes from the craft store.
Pour school glue with a splash of water into a bowl and mix.
 Grab some paint brushes.

Paint the glass jars with the glue and water mixture and then press on the strips of paper.

Glue on the eyes. Sit back and admire your handy work.

We plan to get some tea lights and put them in to light them up. Pretty cute, huh?

39/40 Busy Photographer

Week 39 was the busiest week in my business's history. I am grateful for that but was not able to capture my own littles this week. So, here is one from one of my sessions.

Tiny Dancer

I tell you what... I had big plans for photographing this Tiny Dancer during her second dance class. But, let me tell you, it was not easy. Stay tuned. I plan to take my camera along again. I have to say, her in a little dance class is probably one of the cutest things I have ever seen. Ever.
